The Gabrovo Chamber orchestra, brass-band, the "Gabrovo" orchestra and representatives of local choirs often perform live. The folklore ensembles, including dancers, singers and musicians, still treasure and develop the traditional people's arts.

The Sokol Monastery is situated at the distance of 4km from Etura and 12km southeast of the centre of Gabrovo, at the foot of Stara planina, at the bank of Yantra River. Active, for nuns, Patronal feast 15 Aug.

In 9 th century Bulgaria is the first country in Europe which have made its own church, school and literature, have protected and developed the Revival traditions in educational plan. Every nation has its sacred monuments. For the Bulgarians, Shipka is one of them. One of the most decisive battles was fought here during the 1877-1878 Russian – Turkish War, a battle which determined the victorious outcome of the war and which liberated the Bulgarians from five centuries of Ottoman rule.
